Don was a loving father, grandpa, great-grandpa, and much more. He served his country with the US Army, during the Korean Conflict. He farmed for many years and was employed by the Maytag Company, retiring after 32.1 years, as a Die Setter. On December 30, 1954, Don was united in marriage with Delia Louise Stevens. He devoted his life to his family and friends, and enjoyed fishing and auctions. He was a kind and warm hearted gentleman, who always tried to find the good in everyone. He owned and operated the Whistle Stop Antiques, and was a member of the UAW #997 Retirees Union.
